Senior Midfielder Porter Alexander scores 3 goals and adds 2 assists to his resume Tuesday night at Wildcat Stadium as East beats Jordan 10-8 in the 1st round of the Conference playoff bracket. That win puts East in the title game Thursday at 7pm at Cardinal Gibbons in Raleigh NC. The game didn’t start off our way with Jordan scoring the first 2 goals of the game. East came back though and ended the 1st quarter 2-2. The 2nd quarter went Jordans way scoring 3 times to East only scoring twice. The score at halftime was 4-5 Jordan. The 3rd quarter was a back and forth contest with both teams having opportunities. East just happened to score enough to make it a tie game at the end of 3 with a score of 6-6. The start of the 4th quarter was as if it was a 0-0 game. Whichever team played the hardest and capitalized on there opportunities will be the victor. Needless to say it was a great Senior Night at East with our Wildcats outscoring Jordan 4-2 in the 4th quarter to pull out a victory winning 10-8. Great Game Guys!!!
