The first home game for the Wildcats turned out to be a good one. On a chilly night under the lights at Wildcat Stadium East came out determined to beat Cedar Ridge. Senior Chris Cox opened the contest with the first goal of the game on a right handed sweep. The contest went back and forth in the 1st quarter ending in a 3-3 tie. The 2nd quarter went in the favor of the Wildcats going into halftime with a 5-4 lead. Cedar Ridge came out in the 3rd quarter on fire. Cedar Ridge scored 3 goals over a span of 1:41 to end the 3rd quarter tied up 9-9. East regained there composure in the 4th, scoring 2 goals and shutout Cedar Ridge winning the game 11-9. Way to go Cats!!!!
