Successful Senior NIght For The Wildcats

A night to remember for our seniors turned out to be a good one. With a band playing pregame, a guitarist strumming out the National Anthem and each one of our seniors walking out on the field joined by there parents with the beautiful Carolina blue skies in the background was very memorable.. In our first encounter with Jordan it was a nail biter to the end with the Wildcats coming out victorious with a score of 8-7. We all knew that the game was going to be a good one and it lived up to that. The Wildcats started out with Senior Drew Monroe opening up with the first goal of the game. Thats the way to start senior night. The rest of the quarter went back and forth with the Wildcats having the lead at the end of the 1st 2-1. The second quarter was a good one for the Wildcats outscoring Jordan 3-1 going in to halftime with a score of 5-2. Jordan came out in the second half determined to get back in to the game and did so ending the 3rd quarter with a score of 5-4 Wildcats. The 4th quarter went back and forth until Junior Chris Cox put that final nail in the coffin giving the Wildcats a 2 goal lead. As time was ticking away on senior night Jordan could not seem to rally back. The game ended with the Wildcats winning 6-4.
