In a game that was guaranteed to have a lot of emotion, it sure did live up to it. The game started just like the last one with Chapel Hill scoring the first 2 goals of the game . East determined not to let the game get away from them scored the next 3 ending the 1st quarter 3-2 East. The 2nd quarter was all Chapel Hill scoring 3 goals to Easts 1, going into halftime 4-5 Chapel Hill. Coach Koplar put together a good game plan at halftime and East came out on fire in the 3rd outscoring Chapel Hill 7-1 ending the 3rd quarter East 11 chapel Hill 6. Way to go guys. East kept their composure in the 4th scoring 1 more time while Chapel Hill scored twice . The game ended East 12 Chapel Hill 6. Congrats boys and congrats to our seniors that have gone 8-0 in there career at East against Chapel Hill.
